Hi everyone, we have gotten really tired of our 2 older girls arguing all the time. Right now, Princess has her own room and Cutie Pie and Pooky share a room. Princess (8) and Cutie Pie (4) have been arguing NON-STOP! aaahhhhhhhhh.......
We are just tired of it now and had an idea.
What would happen if we moved The Princess back into Cutie Pie's room. Pooky (11mos) would then move into Princess' room. We mentioned the idea tonight, and oh did Princess get upset. She was so angry that we would even consider doing this to HER!!!
I was thinking, that if the 2 of them were in the same room, they will just have to learn to get along. I know that kids don't always get along, but these 2 argue MORE then they talk civilly(is this a word?) to each other.
I could use suggestions about this one. I am really stuck here.

hmmmmmm I wish I had some good advice...I struggle with this one a lot myself.... the only thing I could suggest is pray pray pray...pray over their relationship and pray over their attitudes...I try that sometimes!! be good if I could follow my own advice...most days I just tell them to go talk it out...it is frustrating and tiring....there is a book by Stormie Omartian, called the praying parent (or something like that) it had a good prayer for your children's relationships....I should try to find it and pass the prayer on to you!!
ReplyDeleteHaha, your Princess and my missy are so much alike!! I would put the baby in with her and let dd4 have her own space for a bit. Advice for keeping sisters from fighting... hhmmm that's a toughy. Separate for a while and make sure each get their own fill of attention at separate occasions and then stuff for them to work on together as a team, learning to work and get along. Keep me posted!
