Kids...the things they say...

I have got a few for you today...

Pooky is our 3 year old...she is just discovering things, and getting excited about them.

One day, a few weeks ago, she looks at Pete and her eyes grew wide and she says...Daddy, what happened? He asked her what she meant...and she says, your face daddy, what happened to your face...Pete had shaved!! He told her that she had shaved and she was just wide eyed at that fact...yah, so he doesn't shave much...

Another time, she was looking at Max, the dog, they have a special relationship, she bugs the crap out of him and he still loves her...anyhow, she looked at his face and then came screaming to the living room...Mac ha eye, Mac ha eye...she saw his eyes for the first time...as I type this, I am thinking to myself that I already typed this one up...but I am too lazy to delete it, so the story may be here twice...oh well...

The best one, though, from Pooky...she is sitting on the couch examining what is under her shirt. She is poking them and then says "mommy, these are my privates?" I said yes, they are. She says "mine not big yet?" and I laughed and said put your shirt down...and not yet...lol

The next story has to do with my nephew, Mr. B. I double checked with his mom if it was ok to post this and she said it was fine...it is just too funny!!

I was driving the kids to their afterschool program, it is just down the road. We were at a red light and there was a car in front of me waiting to turn left. I obviously had to wait and the guy behind me started honking his horn at me. I put my hand out the window and gestured to show him that there was someone turning and I couldn't go. Then I was able to go and I just drove really slowly...my road rage...anyhow. Mr. B speaks up and says "when someone is honking at my mom, she gives them the finger" I said really? He says "yup, and I thinkn the finger calls the cops too" I was laughing so hard inside...but I made sure to tell him that it is not a nice finger, and he should never use it...

Kids, gotta love them...

And...Faith has been discharged from the Growth and Development. It is the first discharge of 3, next is next week from the brachial plexis clinic and then the eyes...I can't wait!!

  1. These are funny!

Julia always asks if she can nurse the baby. She'll tell me, "I have b**bs! I can do it."
