Things to be thankful for...

I think that we need to think about what we are thankful in our lives. We are so blessed and we can easily forget what is going great and what things happened that are awesome...

So, here are some things I am thankful for:

I am alive!! Don't we take life for granted sometimes? I know that I do. I am so thankful for my life. I am so thankful for the lives of all my family members, even when they are driving me nuts!! I am thankful that I can laugh and cry and forgive and ask forgiveness from others. I am thankful for my health.

I am also thankful for my husband, who works very hard for us. He always has and I don't doubt that he will ever stop. He is putting up with my budget obsession and dealing with the cuts that we needed to do. He is a good dad and even though we have 5 kids, he still screams in excitement when number 5 stands by herself for him!! He never gets tired of that!! He also puts up with me, and I am thankful for that...believe it or not, I am not a perfect person and that doesn't matter to him!!

I am thankful that we have a house to live in. A roof over our head and heat so we don't freeze and water to drink. I am thankful that we have been able to work out a plan for our future and have been sticking to it. I am thankful that we have a pool and I can't wait for this snow to go away!! Though, I am thankful for the seasons, even though I don't like snow, I am thankful for the beauty that comes along with it.

I am also thankful that we have a great medical system in Canada. It is not perfect, but nothing is. We don't have to make decisions between life/death or our houses. We just get what we need. I am thankful for the dr's that we have. They understand our family and work with us, instead of choosing to not accept us for who we are.

I am thankful that I am writing again...don't know why I stopped, but I have it back again...

What are you thankful for today?
