Hunting for #EqualCanada at Caseys - #CBias

This weekend, my hubby was supposed to be in the US watching a football game with a bunch of guys from church.  Long story short, he wasn't allowed across the border because of a record he had from 20 years ago.  We wanted to have a fun weekend anyways and make the best of the time, so we went out A LOT!!  We spent some time with a few people that we enjoy being around and last night was the "final treat" to end the weekend.

We headed out to Caseys, one of our favourite locations.  The staff is super friendly, nice and funny and the apps, after 9pm, are half price!  So we can order 2 and still pay the same bill:-)

We have enjoyed getting out together more often lately and it has been great for our relationship.  It is so important to spend time with each other without kids around.

And we got to spend some time with great friends!  We picked them up at their place and I got to drive these 2 "professional" drivers (our hubbys) to the restaurant...there were a few cracks made about the matching dents on the van (that I made) but we all survived the drive!!  And I even backed into the spot without a problem...lol!!

We ordered lots of apps...we had chicken wings, potato tornado, chicken quesadilla, chicken tacos, spinach and artichoke dip, cheesy breat, sweet and spicy chicken bites, and our drinks...It was a LOT of food!!

I asked our server what sweetener options they had available at their location and there was only the choice of white sugar and one other sweetener.  The other choice was not Equal.  I suggested that it would be good to have a bit of a selection on hand and that Equal (@EqualCanada) would be a great addition.

We, personally don't use sweeteners, but I know that if I did I would love to have a selection to choose from, so I made sure to fill out a comment card with the request for Equal as an option for the customers (find Equal Canada on Facebook).

As we were leaving I realized that there was a wall with hockey pics on it...and the big picture right in the middle was a Sundin Maple Leaf jersey!!  I had to take the picture of that, because hubby is a Habs fan (cringe) and right now the Leafs are sitting in 4th and the Habs are in 25th in the league!!  I just HAD to rub it in a bit...

And seeing as we are avid Casey fans - I go regularly with the girls, with hubby, with just about anybody for that matter, and something caught my eye on the way out...I know what I would like to ask for for Christmas...
Hint. Hint.
