Sharing a Poem

Ok, I have not tended to share my poetry or writing with many people, I am really trying to be more open and share more of it with people. So, without further ado...

I wrote this poem after our baby girl was stillborn at 32 weeks. It had been about 2 1/2 months since she was born. We named her Angel, because that was how we wanted to remember her. I woke up at 2am to write this. I just couldn't sleep!

Mommy, It's Me

Mommy, it's me Angel,
I'm having so much fun,
You should see this place,
It's brighter then the sun.

Mommy, please stop crying,
You know that I'm ok,
You know that you will see me again,
When you come here one day.

Oh, how much fun it is,
To run around and play,
To be here with Jesus,
You know, He watches me all day!

There are so many people here,
Some I even know,
Everyone here is so radiant,
And I wanted you to know...

That I really am ok,
Please don't worry anymore,
I am forever cradled,
In the arms of our Lord.
