Switched...

Alright, I had this incredible urge to see what the new blogger looked like...this is how it looks. I switched over, so if there are any glitches, please let me know. I am also looking forward to trying out the new "labels" option.

The possum is officially gone. Well, it was yesterday. We woke up and went out to check. We didn't see it, so unless it decides to come back, cause it was comfy, then I pretty much think it is gone. One of our neighbours said that they had one living under their shed at one point. So, I guess there really are possums in Ontario...in case you didn't know...

Our house is still upside down, I think until the tree comes down, it will be. The kids are slowly getting their things put away, so it is starting to look a bit better. We are almost out of leftovers, I think I am going to freeze the rest of the turkey and keep it on hand for easy casseroles down the road.

I got my printer working. It is so fast and comes out looking so clear. Yesterday some friends popped in for a visit and I printed off a cute lapbooking activity for Cutie Pie and her friend to do. They made an 'All about me' lapbook. I will have to take pictures when I find the camera. I am just happy that I don't have to send my printing to other people!!

Hubby is working through Saturday. If you live near me, remember that your garbage day for this week (which is over now) and next week is a day later. So we put ours out for Saturday instead of Friday. Hubby only works 2 Saturdays a year, so we really can't complain. We were happy to have him home for Christmas day and are looking forward to New Years day as well. Every year since we have been married, we have gone to a chinese buffet on New Years. It is a nice way to ring in the new year, and we are usually too tired to do any cooking anyways. Hubby has always delivered pizza on new years eve, but not this year. We are planning on heading over to the church for a party there.

Anyhow, gonna run and make some dinner...not leftovers.

  2. Our leftovers are nearly gone, too. Glad to hear you're enjoying your printer. I hope you will post pictures of the lapbook. I'm always on the lookout for fun activities.
