Today was our pediatrician appointment. We have been praying for a doctor who will work with us and we will be comfortable with.
Prayer answered. If anyone lives by me, and needs a pediatrician, ask me!!
She was such a nice person to talk to. Without going into too much detail, because our life still has to remain our own...she asked all the questions you could ever want to know about any one person. By the end of the visit we knew that Mr. Hockey has a very strong upper body, is growing right in line with what is normal and we have another appointment set up for one more test.
On Wednesday we go in for allergy testing on him as well. This is one test he is not looking forward to at all!! The dr. today wasn't sure if there was any concern for allergies, but I still want to cover my bases. So, that is where we are off to later on this week.
So, to whomever was praying with us, thanks for the prayers. They really were answered and I feel so at ease now with what is going on in our life.
I was in grade 5 when I had my first allergy testing done. I had a very bad allergic reaction to BBQ chips.
ReplyDeleteThey did the testing on my back, and other than the itching it didnt hurt too much as they are little pricks. I always try and count and wiggle my fingers or talk to my mom about stuff to keep me occupied. The talking helps alot!
They now do them on my arms.
I'll be praying for him!
