Sharing some more pics

Tonight seems to be the start to our Christmas season...it seems odd to start celebrating when Faith isn't here with us yet...but things move on and time doesn't stand still for anyone...

This is the first day, since she was born...a month ago, that neither one of us made it in to visit her. It really feels weird and like we are neglecting her...but, as I said, we are finding that life does go on and we have 4 more kids here too...and with the bad driving conditions, we just didn't want to risk anything, so here we sit.

We phone the hospital a few times now and the nurses are just so understanding. They patiently answer our questions...the same ones that we ask each time: Is she spitting up much? Is she still sucking that soother?(cause she finally showed an interest in it yesterday and couldn't get enough of it!!YAY) Is she pooping? The questions really seem trivial, but they are huge for us and for her, because they will determine how much longer it will be.

I don't have much time right now to write out what I would like to write, since we are getting ready for our Church's Christmas dinner, so I will just post some pictures instead and the words to a song that has been stuck in my head for this past week...we sing it and confess this over Faith many times a day...and we sing our own words to it periodically too...

I Am Free - Newsboys
Through You the blind will see
Through You the mute will sing
Through You the dead will rise
Through You our hearts will praise
Through You the darkness flees
Through You my heart screams
I am free I am free

Chorus: I am free to run (I am free to run)
I am free to dance (I am free to dance)
I am free to live for You (I am free to live for You)
I am free (I am free)
Yes, I am free (I am free)

Through You the kingdom's come
Through You the battle's won
Through You I'm not afraid
Through You the price is paid
Through You there's victory
Because of You my heart screams
I am free I am free

Chorus:

Who the Son sets free is free indeed.
Who the Son sets free is free indeed.

After the surgical tube was put in...3 tubes in her face...

Big yawn and only 2 tubes in her face...

They finally found something nice and pink that would fit her and only 1 tube in the face...

Her first dress...and no tubes in the face and now the needle in the leg is gone too...

Keep believing with us for a bed to be open in our hospital tomorrow...we are ready to start the final transition!!
