This past week we bought the XBOX Kinect. I have never had so much fun with a system before!! This was, by far, the best purchase we have made - that can include the whole family.
After a few days of playing it, I was sore!! My legs hurt, my abs throbbed...my brain thought of this wonderful idea!!
I am going to try to work out every day of the year on the Kinect...I guess workout isn't really the word, more like "play" with the result being sore muscles!! LOL!
I want to track my activity here every Sunday for the year, my beginning weight and where I end up after it all. So, for the first little while I am only focussing on setting the habit of physical activity before I get caught up with the food.
So, since the beginning of the year here are my stats:
My starting weight (on a crappy scale, I need a better one) is 226lbs.
- Jan 1 - 20 minutes
- Jan 2 - 30 minutes
- Jan 3 - 1 hour
- Jan 4 - 0
- Jan 5 - 45 minutes
- Jan 6 - 30 minutes
- Jan 7 - 10 minutes
- Jan 8 - 0
I was able to get some play time in every day except the 2 days. That is ok, I am not going to beat myself up over it.
So, this is week 1 out of 52. It is something that I hope will help change my life and give me back some of that energy I need so badly!!
