I DID IT...I DID IT!!!!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FINALLY DID IT...

My marriage certificate came in today, the first day back from camping, and hubby drove me over to the driver exam office.

I went in and they checked over all my ID and it was finally ok...

They checked my eyes, took my picture, I signed my life away and then off I went to write the test.

I knew the first question without a problem and the second too, I got 4 wrong on the first part...that is the maximum allowed in Ontario (Canada). I got one about how far to park from a hydrant (I just won't park anywhere near them), there was one about how far to stop behind a streetcar (I don't live in Toronto), the one about how long before you should change any information on your license (that won't be happening soon), and I can't rememeber what the last one I got wrong was. I was so worried when I saw the guy writing down the correct answers.

The second part was street signs. I pretty much know what they are, but I did get one wrong. The construction ahead one...the 4 answers confused me a bit and I think I just over analyzed them...

OH WELL...I PASSED, I GOT TO SIGN MY LICENSE, I GOT MY TEMPORARY PAPER AND I WILL RECEIVE MY CARD IN 4 WEEKS...I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!

Hubby let me drive after I got in the car. I kinda freaked out about that, but I did. I drove to my moms, which is a 25 minute walk (if you remember the previous blog posts!!). I did ok, but didn't slow down enough to turn a corner and ended up taking it really sharp while the flicker was pointing the other way...oh well I will figure it out.

Now to find a driving school that I can afford!!

  1. CONGRATULATIONS!! Driving schools are expensive, but they teach you a lot and I'm so glad I took drivers. I took it through my school so I only paid $340, which is a very good deal. Good luck driving!!!!

  4. Yay that's really great! You've done really well, good on you :-).
Driving schools are a really good idea as they teach you good habits from the beginning and take you through the course that the driving tester will be taking you- at least they do here in NZ.
    How was the camping trip?
